In 2007 the Trust acquired this former Georgian coaching inn, and have succeeded in restoring this important building to its former glory. Built in 1777 and remodelled by Thwaites Brewery in 1853, the Trust has saved it from fire, demolition and neglect.

The Mill was saved from demolition and purchased by us in 1999. The Trust intends that the Mill will become a focal point for the Creative Industries in East Lancashire. 36 artists workshops are being constructed together with visitor facilities and an art gallery.

This Georgian house in Morecambe has been restored by the trust to its original condition. Traditional buildings skills such as limewashing and a return to its original paint scheme have brought this building back to life. It is now being used as a studio for local artists.

The Trust has a large presence in the Lomeshaye area of Nelson. Within the conservation boundary are three buildings of historical importance to the community and the trust is aiming to breath new life into the mill, bridge cottage and the surrounding terraces.
