Becoming a Member of HHA
Who should join HHA?
All residents in the Heysham area should consider joining the Association. The suggested subscription is very small, and there is no commitment to taking part in the activities - though all help is welcome. There is also provision for Supporting Institutions to join, in particular, schools.
Parents should consider joining, both for their own sake and to pass on a sense of heritage to the next generation.
What are the benefits to members?
All members receive the HHA Newsletter to keep them informed of current activities, and members are able to participate in heritage concerns. Members are also able to take part in activities, as much as they are able, and to do something for the community.
An important benefit of membership is meeting like-minded people. Advice is gladly given. You may well be inspired to develop a latent talent, e.g. in history, natural history, archaeology, literature, art etc.
How can I help HHA?
The best way to help is to join and take part in as many activities as you can. If you are not able to join, please consider making a dontation.
